The primary objective was to replace traditional manual ledgers with an intuitive, all-in-one digital platform. We delivered a robust system featuring daily chicken development tracking, automated feed inventory management, and granular cost and revenue calculation. The application allows farmers to log continuous data from day 1—recording mortality rates, vaccine schedules, and feed consumption—ensuring critical metrics like the Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) and projected profit margins are always calculated in real-time.
Our development began with an on-the-ground understanding of the daily challenges faced by poultry farmers. We focused heavily on designing a mobile-first application with an incredibly simple, user-friendly interface tailored for users who may not be highly tech-savvy. Recognizing the environment of poultry sheds, we prioritized offline data entry capabilities. This allowed farmers to log feed usage and bird health metrics directly inside the farm without needing an active internet connection, seamlessly syncing the data to the cloud once they were back online.
